Splunk integrates AI into new service offering

AI chips with military precision

Splunk has extended its process monitoring system to include a machine learning component. The California-based provider of business solutions in data processing would like to extend its already significant 31.2 per cent share of the IT market. The new offer from Splunk is called IT Service Intelligence 3.0 and aims to convince companies through the level of user friendliness. Instead of relying on its customers to have a basic knowledge of the appropriate algorithms to calibrate the service tool, Splunk has created an interface that can be used quite naturally. Through the use of tutorial wizards, the user follows a series of dialogue boxes in which they can configure the software according to their individual needs. Afterwards, everything runs automatically: the AI analyses the defined processes, learns them and then provides forecasts and recommendations for appropriate limits and adjustments.

We wish Splunk great success with its new generation of IT Service Intelligence.
